This page with the videos is where the link for our livestream of your ceremony will appear.
Sunday, June 12, 5:00pm, Dickson Court North: Please gather on the Dickson Court South. People will assist you as you assemble into the procession line. Master’s degree recipients will be at the start of the line. The line will be cued to enter and be seated in Dickson Court North. Please come one hour early and bring a pen, because you will need to complete cards to hand to the name reader when it is your turn to cross the stage. This is your chance to provide pronunciation guidance to the name reader. You will complete several cards, all with the same information, because it is needed for the photographer, the sign language interpreter, and the name reader.

UPDATE: MAY 27, 2022:
If you have ordered tickets, you will receive your electronic tickets via email messages from the Central Ticket Office.
- Email messages will arrive at your email address (as it is indicated in MyUCLA) between Tuesday, May 24, and Thursday, June 9, 2022.
- You will receive email messages from tickets@cto.ucla.edu that contain links for you to receive your tickets. You will receive one message per ceremony for each of your graduate tickets and one message per ceremony for your guest tickets. There is no in-person pick-up.
- If MyUCLA says you aren’t eligible for commencement and you are in the Class of 2020 or the Class of 2021, ignore the message. MyUCLA is set up to handle the Class of 2022 only (i.e., only one graduating class at a time – the current class completing in the spring).
- Be sure you check the email account you have in MyUCLA (check every email account you’ve ever told the campus about, to be safe), and check that email account’s spam folder for your ticket messages. Check your spam folder frequently, as you don’t want to miss receiving your tickets. Some email providers empty spam folders regularly.
The Central Ticket Office (CTO) received your ticket information last Friday (May 20, 2022). They have alerted the College Commencement Office that they will start sending your ticket email messages sometime next week. We are sorry to hear about this delay. But you will receive your tickets in time.
COVID POLICIES will be available at https://commencement.ucla.edu. Thanks!
UPDATE, APRIL 11, 2022: We look forward to continuing our celebration of the Class of 2021 in person at ceremonies on campus Sunday, June 12, 2022. These Sunday events are now full. Additional ceremonies will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2022, and Saturday, June 25, 2022. Bachelor’s and master’s degree recipients from all departments and programs in the UCLA College of Letters and Science, the UCLA International Institute, the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, the UCLA Samueli School of Engineering, and the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television are invited to participate in the ceremonies if they received their degrees in fall 2020, winter 2021, spring 2021, and summer 2021. If you completed your degree in fall 2021 and received approval for a special inclusion petition to participate in the 2021 College Commencement, you will be included, too. If you do not already have a special inclusion petition and you completed in fall 2021, you will be invited to the Class of 2022 ceremonies instead. Initially we will be able to offer one ticket for each graduate plus four free tickets for each graduate’s family and friends.
The ceremonies will be organized by Division in the College or professional school, with a specific time assigned to you, given the program in which you received your degree. More information will be available in the coming weeks about the ceremony times and how members of the Class of 2021 can request their tickets. The ceremonies on Sunday are scheduled for outdoor locations on campus, and the ceremonies that follow are scheduled for Royce Hall.
Please note that all information about the Covid rules for graduates and guests to attend these events will be posted at this site, so bookmark this page and visit it frequently as commencement weekend approaches.
Also, please 1) be sure that your email address in MyUCLA is kept up to date and 2) be sure to check your email account’s spam and junk folders for any mass emails that we send about these ceremonies, as your email carrier may mistakenly identify them as spam. We will be contacting you through a very limited number of email messages. This website will remain your best resource for information about these events.
Future email messages that may be sent will only lead to this site, and the text of every email sent will be posted here. Bookmarking this site and checking back frequently will ensure that you don’t miss anything, especially if our email messages land in your spam folder or you no longer use the email account in UCLA’s records. But please: 1) keep your email address up to date in MyUCLA, and 2) check your spam folder regularly.
We are excited to celebrate your accomplishments in person! Please read below for more details!
ANNOUNCEMENT: February 22, 2022
The Commencement Office is in the process of sending out email announcements to members of the Class of 2021 who have yet to cross the stage at one of our ceremonies. The email messages will direct graduates to come to this page to receive updates about our ceremonies in June. These messages will provide no special information, because all of the details about the ceremonies will be presented on this webpage in a series of dated announcements (like this one). As mentioned above, you must make sure your email address is up to date in MyUCLA, and you must check your spam and junk folders for messages about our spring events.
What if 1) you haven’t yet crossed the stage at one of our ceremonies, 2) you are a member of the Class of 2021, and 3) you haven’t received a single email message about these events? You’re fine. There is no email list to which you need to be added. If you received your degree as described above and you have yet to cross the commencement stage at one of our ceremonies, you will be eligible to participate in the ceremony to which you are assigned in June, according to your Division or Professional School. You will want to be certain that your email address in MyUCLA is up to date, so that you will be able to access the electronic tickets when they become available. You will want to check your spam and junk folders frequently, to be sure you don’t miss receiving your tickets when they become available. Finally, you will want to bookmark this page and return to it frequently, because it is where all the information is presented. But you do not need to receive an email to use this webpage. And any emails we send will only lead you to this page. Also, you can use Google. Put this on the search line in Google:
UCLA College Commencement 2021
…and you will be led to this page. Anyone anywhere will always be able to find this page. What a relief!
ANNOUNCEMENT: March 20, 2022
